Ladies, forget about Cosmos and shopping, and join us for an afternoon of exciting cocktails.  Our resident Mixologist Angie Jackson and Lynn House, Chief Mixologist for Blackbird Restaurant, have designed a class for you gals that is dedicated to classic cocktails, otherwise known as “old man drinks.”  Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Highballs, and Sidecars have become highly fashionable in the cocktail scene.  Grab your girlfriends and head over to Cooking Fools to learn about these prohibition-era classic cocktails.  Angie and Lynn have tweaked these classic recipes and twisted them to become more user-friendly for those who may have feared these libations in the past.  You will sample and take home the recipes for an Elderflower Sidecar, Ginger Vanilla Whiskey Sour, Blueberry Lavender Rickey, The 42nd Street - a play on a Manhattan, and the Contessa, a softer version of the classic Negroni.
