MENU

First Course:
Maple roasted brussel sprouts with toasted chestnuts
Cocktail Pairing: Glass Onion (Beefeater London Dry Gin, Glass Onion Shrub (Apple Cider Vinegar/Shallots/Ginger/Pear), Fresh Lemon Juice, Fee Brothers Gin Barrel Aged Bitters, Simple Syrup, Fresh Thyme Garnish)

Second Course:
Turkey croquettes with cranberry vinaigrette
Cocktail Pairing: Ginful Apple (Broker's London Dry Gin, Grand Marnier, Indian Summer Apple Juice, Fresh Lemon Juice, Fee Brothers Orange Bitters, Wafer thin Apple Slice Garnish with a Dusting of Fresh Grated Cinnamon)

Third Course:
Sweet potato and duck pierogies with mocha drizzle.
Cocktail Pairing: Oh Hell, Rye Not? (Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey, Muddled Orange with Spiced Orange Marmalade Syrup, Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters)

Fourth Course:
Pumpkin creme brulee
Cocktail Pairing: Ginger Vanilla Sidecar (Courvoisier Cognac, Cointreau, Ginger Vanilla Syrup, Fresh Lemon Juice, Lemon Twist Garnish)


Chef Eric Boodt comes to Old Dog with extensive culinary creativity. After spending six years in the South Haven culinary circle, Eric spent the next four years as Sous Chef at Oakwood Bistro. Eric became the Sous Chef at The Park Club for the next year and is currently restructuring the menu at Old Dog Tavern. He has participated in Chef's Against Hunger Charity Event, the Girl Scout Cookie Challenge, Gumbo Cook Off and recently paired with The Traveling Elixir Fixer for the Eat, Drink, and Give Fundraiser held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel for Give Kalamazoo.


Angie Jackson, a/k/a "The Traveling Elixir Fixer" began her bar career in 1996 and has created, designed and executed cocktails for numerous distillers, distributors, bars, restaurants and spirited events in the greater Chicago area and SW Michigan. She has consulted with top global spirit brands as well as small, artisan-crafted distillers throughout the Midwest. She returns to Kalamazoo after spending almost 13 years in Chicago's Mixology and Culinary Circuit. Formerly an adjunct professor at Chicago's Kendall College, Angie instructed HOS 123 (Mixology) offered through the Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage and Hospitality Departments and was the Festival Mixologist for the Chicago Food Film Festival held at Kendall College in 2009 and 2010. She was also the Resident Mixologist at Cooking Fools in Wicker Park, Chicago, and Flavour Cooking School in Forest Park, where she instructed a series of Mixology classes for home entertainment. Angie can be found in the back elixir bar at Old Dog Tavern Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings beginning at 5:00pm.
